The Las Vegas Strip itself is definitely walkable, but it might take you a day or two to do the full stretch depending on how many bars you hit along the way. 😎

There’s also many new developments in the area including the stunning Las Vegas Ballpark where you can catch a Las Vegas Aviator’s game (#protip: Tuesdays are dollar beer nights – you’re welcome), Downtown Summerlin filled with restaurants and shops, and more. Elysian at Tivoli is the epitome of a walkable community. Situated directly across the street of Tivoli Village, you’re able to walk across the street with over 50 shops, restaurants, and more. Truth be told, even though it’s not located on the Las Vegas Strip, the spirit of The Strip is infused into every inch of these luxury Summerlin apartments, and are within walking distance of many different shops and restaurants. After all, it’s just a few minutes away from Downtown Summerlin and just a short drive from the very best of Vegas. Even though it’s a short distance though, we recommend bringing a car so that you can truly experience the full area and all it has to offer!

Even if you don’t believe in love at first sight, Elysian at Hughes Center®  with its prime location right next to The Strip will sweep you right off your feet. This property is the strip-lovers dream. For anyone who doesn’t mind a walk, you can get to the strip in about 20 minutes. If that sounds too long for you, don’t worry! You can easily use rideshare services that will take 5 minutes to drop you off in The Strip’s epicenter.

It depends on where you want to go and what’s on your itinerary! If you want to strictly stay on the Las Vegas Strip, you can walk to just about anywhere. If you’re traveling during the hotter months, you might want to use a car or use rideshare services, but the rest of the year is mild enough where you can walk all day if you please! 

If you want to get to the outskirts of Las Vegas to explore the Henderson, Summerlin, Centennial, or Spring Valley areas for example, your best and cheapest option would be to rent a car. Once you get to those areas there’s plenty to do within walking distance of those areas! 

The Monorail runs from MGM Grand to Sahara and is a great way to travel up and down The Strip! You can purchase a single ride or 7 day pass, and locals receive a discount.  

Las Vegas also has several free trams like the Mirage Treasure Island Tram that runs from Mirage to Treasure Island, the Aria Express Tram that runs from Bellagio, City Center, & Park MGM, and the Mandalay Bay Excalibur Tram that runs from (you guessed it!) Mandalay Bay to Excalibur. 

Yes, in some areas like The Strip! However, if you want to venture out and explore the city like taking a scenic drive through Red Rock Canyon, escaping the heat in Mt. Charleston, or doing a Beer Crawl in the Arts District breweries, you will need to use rideshare services or rent your own car.
