This April 24th marks National Pet Parent Day and what better way to celebrate than by taking your fur child to the park for some fun in the sun? We’re proud to be a pet-friendly community and we understand how special it is to be a parent to a furry critter of your own. With that said, we’ve have done some research to bring you to the best dog parks in the Henderson area and we’re sure that you and your pooch will love them!

1. Elysian at The Districts Dog Park

Kicking off our list of the best pet-friendly parks in the Henderson area is none other than our very own dog park. Our on-site dog park provides a safe fenced in environment for your dog to roam around and play. Our dog park is well maintained and includes plenty of fresh grass for your dog to have fun on.

2. Bark Park at Heritage Park 

Address: 350 S Racetrack Rd, Henderson, NV, 89015 / Phone: (702) 267-2350

Located just a quick 15-minute drive away from our community, Bark Park at Heritage Park, is a Henderson gem that your dog will love. The Bark Park is often raved as being the best dog park in the valley and has 4 separate running areas, dog watering fountains, agility courses and more. This park is always full of a mix of small and large breeds and is the perfect place to bring your dog for some dog to dog socialization.

3. Sunset Dog Park

Address: E Warm Springs Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89120

The Sunset Dog Park is another Henderson favorite and is only a 10-minute drive away from our community. The Sunset Dog Park offers three dog park lawns and has several on-site water bins and doggie bags to help keep your pooch comfortable.

4. Southern Highlands Dog Park 

Address: 10598 S Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89141

Last on our list of dog parks is, The Southern Highlands Dog Park, which is located 20-minutes away from our community. The Southern Highlands Dog Park offers lots of space for your pup to roam as well as several benches and shaded areas for you to keep out of the heat and watch your dog play from.
